RISK ASSESSMENT SENIOR FIELD ANALYST | Boston, MA

Stetson Global is currently working with a leading Business Consulting Firm to support them in their search for several suitable candidates with engineering backgrounds, capable of performing risk analysis duties. These roles will focus on field work in both domestic and international markets. The position will involve regular travel to inspection sites. The positions will accommodate work from home for report completion and trip preparation for the next project. Once trained, quarterly visits to the main office in New England would be expected.

A range of skills, experience, and language will be sought. The client requires candidates possess both hard and soft skills including:

Engineering/Technical Background

• B.S. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.

• Structural design, production, factory, or environmental science experience welcome.

• Fluent or near fluent in English.

• Prior field-oriented quality control experience a plus.

Business Acumen

• Experience in logistics, process management, and/or management.

• Ability to overcome language/cultural barriers during surveys to obtain necessary information.

• Ability to convey inspection results in detailed and accurate reports.

• Strong time management skills.

Qualifications:

• Seeking 3-10 years of engineering work in a field or production environment, to perform field and site inspections of active commercial entities. The assessments will be utilized as part of client’s risk assessment/risk mitigation strategic review. 

• Experience working in oil or heavy industry is a plus.

• Must be eligible to work legally in the United States.

• The following is desirable, but not required:

  • Fluency in two or more foreign languages.

  • 4 year Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred.
