QUALITY TECHNICIAN - Pittsburgh, PA

Unique opportunity to join a global leader as a Quality Technician, with opportunity for growth and travel. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and hardworking quality technicians with a good eye for detail. You will be responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on company products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. You may also be required to maintain calibrated test equipment, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality control improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Apply and maintain quality requirements and standards for development and manufacturing products

• Serve as a complementary quality resource onCustomer Focus Team performing problem identification, resolution, yield reporting and continuous improvement

• Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents, and reports

• Provide reports to leadership under guidance of Quality Leader or Quality Engineer on quality issues, trends, and returns

• Participate in internal and external quality audits (product, process, system, or supplier)

• QMS (Quality Management System) documentation administrator

• Perform various product inspection activities including receiving, in-process, final, and out of box inspection

Required Education & Experience :

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1-3 years of quality assurance experience

• Ability to analyze data and great attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Strong computer skills including statistical quality applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases

• Ability to organize data into inspection reports
